Breast Center Manager jobs in Ohio
Breast Center Manager manages the day-to-day operations of one or more mammography clinics. Responsibilities may include staffing, training, scheduling, budgeting, and marketing for the clinic(s). Being a Breast Center Manager may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Breast Center Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Breast Center Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes. - Adheres to hospital safety standards
- Perform , follow protocol, and maintain competency for High Level Disinfection procedures
- Take responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment
- Provide age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
- For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
- Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
QualificationsQualifications
Education- RDMS and/or RVT certified Required
- One year experience in scanning Abdominal, Vascular, Gynecology and OB/GYN Preferred
- Knowledge of sterile technique and surgical procedures Required
- Basic computer knowledge. Required
- Knowledge of various types of ultrasound equipment. Required
- Basic knowledge of oxygen tanks, suction machines and IVAC pumps. Required
- Knowledge of computer stored images Required
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) and/or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) Required and
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
