Body makers create the foundation of our exceptional flutes. They are responsible for precious metal tube preparation and treatment, assembly and installation of the following components: ribs, posts, boxes, and barrels, as well as fitting of the steels. The position demands expertise in gold and silver metalworking, soldering, a strong understanding of geometry and dimensions, attention to detail, excellent time management skills, a high degree of manual dexterity, patience, and openness to feedback. This position focuses on our drawn tone hole models.

The ideal candidate would have 2 – 3 years of experience with metalworking and bench work, though we are open to training motivated candidates without such experience. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Ability to play the flute or another musical instrument is a plus.
