Building and Grounds Supervisor supervises and trains building and grounds maintenance staff. Being a Building and Grounds Supervisor maintains and monitors the operation of all utility systems such as heating, ventilating and air conditioning. May be responsible for the housekeeping staff. Additionally, Building and Grounds Supervisor, a level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated maintenance worker to join our team at our Home owner Association. We have a pool, tennis courts, a beach, and a 100 slip marina that require maintenance. This is a hands-on position that requires physical labor and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. This is a seasonal position from June 1st through September 1st 4 days a week must work weekends
Duties:
- Perform mowing, trimming, and edging of lawns and green spaces
-Raking the the sand on our beach each morning
-Pool Maintenance
-Clean restrooms daily
- Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in outdoor environments
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
