The City of Redding is establishing an eligibility list to fill one full-time Building Inspector vacancy in the Building & Code Enforcement Division, as well as future vacancies that occur during the life of the list. Incumbents in this position inspect new and existing buildings and structures in all stages and types of construction, alteration, or repair to determine and enforce conformity with all applicable laws relating to maintenance, construction, alterations, conversion, use, occupancy, safety, and sanitation.
