  • What Will I Do:  The Director of Business Development will contribute to leading our healthcare staffing growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the healthcare staffing industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth through strategic business development efforts. This role will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our organization by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing relationships with healthcare facilities. Your primary objective will be to expand our client base and increase revenue through strategic business development initiatives.

    Day In The Life:

    • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to expand the company's presence in the healthcare staffing market.
    • Identify and prioritize target markets and key accounts, focusing on hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare organizations.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts, including C-level executives, HR directors, and department heads.
    • Lead the sales team in prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities, ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including recruiting, operations, and marketing teams, to ensure seamless execution of client engagements.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
    • Develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and other sales materials to effectively communicate the value proposition of our staffing solutions.
    • Provide regular reporting and analysis of sales performance metrics, including pipeline activity, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts.
    • Mentor and coach sales team members to enhance their skills, performance, and professional development.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and foster strategic partnerships.
    • Meets with key clients, assisting strategic partnerships team with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
    • Partners with company Leadership Team to ensure consistent expectations and messages are shared across all teams.
    • Assists other departments within organization to prepare manuals and technical publications as necessary.
    • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.

    Who Am I:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration or related field preferred.
    • 6 years proven sales leadership / business development role.
    • Prior business development experience in the staffing industry.
    • Deep understanding of healthcare industry trends, regulatory requirements, and challenges facing healthcare providers.
    • Strong network of contacts within the healthcare industry, particularly with hospital administrators, HR professionals, and healthcare executives.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic business plans, drive revenue growth, and exceed sales targets.
    • Ability to successfully perform in a results-driven and deadline-oriented environment.
    • Must possess strong business and sales acumen and solid leadership proficiency.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and be professional when dealing with situations that require actions of such nature.
    • Willingness to travel as needed. 

    My Team: This position may be responsible for direct management/leadership of sales teams in the future. Responsible for coaching and development of all team members across the organization in a collaborative environment.
