Business Development Director directs the execution of the business development vision, strategy, plans, and processes to drive sales, increase revenue, expand markets, and accomplish financial objectives. Identifies and evaluates new markets, partners, channels, and customers. Being a Business Development Director develops and uses contacts and relationships within the industry, business environment, and customer base to understand and respond to competition, pricing, and product demand changes. Oversees the development of proposals and contracts for new business opportunities and manages negotiations. Additionally, Business Development Director collaborates with marketing, sales, product development, and other stakeholders to support business development plans. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Business Development Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Responsibilities

Key duties include:
· Growing the business in all markets with a focus on the corporate sector.
· Delivering direct sales through telephone and face-to-face sales.
· Delivering prospect pipeline through continuous activity and lead generation.
· Upselling existing clients on new Prenax services and software.
· Meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets.
· Developing relationships with key stakeholders and influencers at major clients and prospects.
· Assisting colleagues at HQ to ensure continuous excellent service to all existing clients and the successful implementation of all new clients.
· Developing relationships with staff in other countries, especially business development, in order to emulate best practice and to acquire business from established international clients.
· Preparing and presenting sales proposals to prospects as well as periodical dashboard reports to existing clients.
· Maintaining excellent client and prospect records
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
· High energy, enthusiasm, and ambition to succeed.
· Proven track record in a B2B sales environment 5 years
· Experience in leading and managing face to face meetings with senior level executives.
· Established corporate network and ability to maintain business relationships.
· Comfortable telephone manner, cold calling, selling new business to new prospects within the corporate sector.
· Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including developing documents and communications for corporate clients.
· Intelligent, strategic, and organized with a proven time management/organization track record
· Experience using Salesforce.com, HubSpot as well as the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· New Hampshire based.
. Willingness to travel within the territory and internationally when required.
