WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Team Lead Business Intelligence role plays an integral part in understanding metrics about our customers, products, and technological capabilities. This role needs a business-oriented mindset combined with technical know-how to conceptualize, build, and deploy full-scale products and solutions. This role acts independently and is required to make decisions while considering deliverables, time constraints, accuracy, and best practices. The Team Lead utilizes all resources in their toolkit to build sustainable, useful, and inspirational products. The Team Lead manages team priorities, plans for capacity, develops, and supports team members, and ensures deliverables are met.

WHERE YOU’LL WORK

This position will work a hybrid schedule from our Leawood, KS office location preferred. Remote will be considered within the United States.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME

• Provide data in an easily consumable format to all levels of the organization to assist in decisions to drive revenue and foster data exploration.
• Work with internal and external customers to understand business requirements and translate those business requirements into technical requirements for quick, actionable insights.
• Define and set analytics roadmap to align to business priorities. Manage priorities for team of 2 to 5 people to execute .
• Communicate with customers, both internal and external, in a professional and timely manner.
• Help business users understand and make conclusions from data for decision making purposes.
• Obtain, cleanse, and manage data using supported and well-documented ETL processes to ensure data reliability and accuracy (SSIS, Python, Tableau, SSMS).
• Work with technology teams to build enterprise data lake solution.
• Prioritize and manage team deliverables to ensure process transparency and that commitments are met.
• Train, develop, and coach team members to foster independent and knowledgeable analysts.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or related field preferred. Relevant experience will be considered.
• Minimum Five years of experience working in a Business Intelligence .
• Experience supporting 50 application end-users.
• Experience researching, analyzing, and leveraging data from a wide range of internal and external resources.
• Experience with Industry Leading Business Intelligence tools, ETL, SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Integration Services, SQL, and Microsoft Office. 
• Experience with presenting data in charts, graphs, tables and creating dashboards.
• Experience with onboarding, training, and mentoring team members.
• Ability to gather technical requirements from non-technical users.
• A solid understanding of data analysis techniques and processes.
• Ability to communicate, collaborate, and share findings with all levels of the .
• Windows Server administration.
• Business Intelligence server application administration experience (Tableau, Business Objects, or equivalent)
