Business Process Optimization Manager manages teams that study and develop optimization changes to an organization's business processes to improve operational efficiencies, quality, service, and profitability. Conducts research on best practices and industry trends for the business. Being a Business Process Optimization Manager oversees the in-depth analysis of existing workflows. Utilizes flowcharts and process maps to define existing processes and identify areas needing improvement. Additionally, Business Process Optimization Manager engages and organizes subject matter experts and cross-functional groups to collect inputs. Implements the tools required to collect and measure relevant data, identify key performance indicators (KPI), and produce a data-driven analysis of critical functions. Introduces new business processes to the organization and produces documentation, tools, and training to support adoption. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Business Process Optimization Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Business Process Optimization Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. a leading manufacturer and distributor of office products solutions is seeking a Process Engineer for our Toner Products Division located in Mitchell, South Dakota.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for a combination of activities in four key areas: Project, Process, Control, and Design Engineering.
    • Provide project management and design for hardware and software system specification and integration of process systems used in the facility.
    • Participate in plan development and consider customer requirements for process and related equipment investment and prepare technical presentations for project justification.
    • Maintain and optimize the manufacturing process, equipment, and control system architecture to ensure the most safe and efficient manufacturing process while maintaining quality standards of the finished product.
    • Identify, analyze, and resolve processing or equipment deficiencies.
    • Develop and recommend corrective actions and document as appropriate.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.


    Qualifications/Experience:

    • Bachelors Degree or equivalent-combination of education/experience acceptable
    • 2 to 5 years of experience working in an manufacturing environment preferred
    • Basic knowledge of engineering systems and processes
    • Strong analytical ability
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong PC Skills
