Business Systems Analysis Director directs all aspects of an organization's business systems. Plans and implements technological service strategies within a shared services environment to support business and user needs. Being a Business Systems Analysis Director acts as major liaison with other departments to identify the business system meets the enterprise's needs. Analyzes trends and uses complex data modeling to improve business performance. Additionally, Business Systems Analysis Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Business Systems Analysis Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Business Systems Analysis Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.   • Reporting to the Director, Business Solutions, you will oversee a team of Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) that elicit systems requirements, system design, testing and integration of software changes supporting SFHP main business applications. You work with partners in multiple departments to ensure accurate, and efficient software release management and Tier 2 production support. You have expertise in business application integration to provide an organized and sustainable system architecture and are an expert in important business processes to ensure integration and collaboration with other SFHP departments.

    SFHP is proud to offer a hybrid work environment. As such, this position will be required to be onsite, in-office a minimum of 4 days per month.

    Salary Range: $142,000 - $160,000

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    • Enhance standards, methodologies and procedures as it relates to business/system analysis and ensure adoption by staff.
    • Ensure Tier 2 business systems production issues are triaged and resolved. Support assigned resources in removing roadblocks.
    • Work with important partners to ensure that software meets our needs, is well-designed and is operationally efficient.
    • Promote cross training among BSA staff to provide consistent coverage and support to all customers.
    • Collaborate with important partners in Information Technology and Enterprise Project Management Office to support smooth delivery of software.
    • Help develop achievable, relevant departmental goals and metrics, and ensure they are used to motivate staff and support high individual and department performance.
    • Coach staff and ensure high morale and commitment.
    • Ensure training tools are in place to support staff in building subject matter expertise on systems analysis.
    • Facilitate discussions on disputed software requests and escalate if needed.
    • Develop, track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to Operations leadership.
    • Manage resource capacity and team allocation to service requests, projects, organizational workgroups and ad hoc assignments.
    • Promote and further SFHP’s culture and mission by fostering an environment where all staff are recognized, understood, appreciated and embrace inclusion and belonging.

    WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
    • Prior experience at a healthcare organization, particularly at a managed care organization.
    • 3 years of management experience.
    • 5 years' experience in Business System Analysis or comparable specialization.
    • Demonstrated interpersonal and collaborative ability.
    • A high level of independence with strong collaboration and relationship management skills.
    • Expertise with process design and systems analysis specifications, which includes business requirements, impact analysis, functional specifications, workflow, business rules, interface design and definitions, and data mapping.
