CAD Drafter jobs in New Mexico

A small engineering firm looking for a BIM Manager / Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Drafter to join our staff. Applicant must be proficient in AutoCADD and Revit software. CAD Drafter must have an understanding of setting up mechanical, plumbing and electrical construction drawings, the ability to incorporate drawing details and pick up markups given by engineers and designers, and produce a final professional submission. This individual needs to be able to communicate clearly, be detail-oriented, be able to follow directives given, be able to manage their time effectively, and keep track of several tasks at a time. We are a quick paced firm that is very busy so we are looking for someone that can handle pressure well, has excellent follow-through skills, and has a solid work ethic.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

• Project drawing set up and maintenance
• Revit central model set up and management
• Following office drawing standards and file management
• Drawing coordination between consultants
• Drafting of drawings from PDFs
• Completion of As-Builts
• Coordination of final turn-in submission
• Communication with client for drawing coordination and project submissions
• Completion of engineer/designer markups
• Familiar with BIM models set up and maintenance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
