    Reports To:  Cage/Main Bank Manager

    Supervises:  Cage/Main Bank Cashier

    Summary of Position

     

    Responsible for the daily operations of the cage/main bank during their shifts, in accordance with the Internal Control Structure (JCS) and with the policies, standards and procedures manual for the Cage/Main Bank.

    1. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and are subject to change at management’s discretion:
    • Monitors the performance of team members, ensuring adherence to the Cage/Main Bank policies, standards and procedures and the JCS for each assigned shift.
    • Assists in implementing Cage/Main Bank policies, standards and procedures to improve security and efficiency.
    • May perform functions of Cage Cashier, as required.
    • Reconciles Cage accountability for assigned shift.
    • Ensure completion and accuracy of all federal currency transaction reporting requirements (Title 31).
    • Reviews all cage cashier discrepancies and follow up reports.
    • Arbitrates conflicts within casino cage, addresses issues, resolves conflicts and any customer service conflicts, providing quality customer service at all times.
    • Assists with the preparation of the cage cashier weekly work schedules.
    • Planning, assigning and directing work
    • Responsible for performance reviews
    • Make necessary referrals of cage team members for re-training if performance is not up to standard.
    • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the casino's policies and applicable laws.
    • Obtains and maintains a gaming license

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    Directly supervises the cage cashiers, assists with supervision of Main Bank Cashier in the absence of Main Bank Supervisor.

    1. Education and/or Experience Requirements

    • Associates Degree (A.A.) from a college or university; or four years job-related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Supervisory experience preferred. Mescalero Apache Tribal preference; bicultural experience preferred.
