Camera-O’Neill Consulting Engineers is expanding the team to include residential architectural design! We are looking for an energetic person who loves simple residential design and appreciates how residential construction is put together. This is a full-time, in-office position located in Portsmouth, RI. You must be proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit and must have the ability to produce architectural designs and basic details for residential buildings. Candidate needs to be very reliable, hardworking, and a self-starter that enjoys a challenge. You would be joining an energetic team environment with potential for development and growth. We will be discrete with all candidate interactions.
Requirements:
-Associate’s degree in architectural design / construction at a minimum
-3 years of experience in residential architectural design and building planning
-Familiarity with building codes and design standards
-Ability to measure and prepare exiting conditions documents
-Produce accurate and precise construction documents for permit.
-Experience coordinating clients and contractors
-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
-Experience working from planning through construction phase
-Excellent AutoCAD and/or Revit skills
-Strong writing/grammar skills
-Detail oriented
-Able to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally with engineers, builders, and clients
