Campus Security Director directs and implements security and safety policies and procedures on campus. Manages the work activities of campus police and patrol units. Being a Campus Security Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a senior institutional officer. The Campus Security Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Campus Security Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. We are hiring for Part-Time Security Officers for a site in Rockford.
The position will begin July 1st, 2024.
Pay Rate is $20.00 an hour.

Job Skills / Requirements
What You’ll Do- Our Campus Security officer will conduct superior customer service, regular patrols by foot and golf cart, respond to emergency situations that require security assistance, write detailed incident reports, and more!
- A current PERC and Driver's License is Required!
- Keen attention to detail
- Superior Integrity in all situations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- A desire to learn about security
- Are comfortable with on-foot duties
- Are comfortable operating a Golf Cart
- Passion for helping people and creating a safe and happy environment
- To be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
High School Diploma, GED or Higher Education Diploma
Certification Requirements (All)
Driver's License
PERC
20- Hour Unarmed Security Officer Certificate
