Based on the qualifications and experience of the successful applicant, the salary range is $65,000 to $70,000 plus a 10% employer contribution to the UMS retirement plan. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, and tuition waiver programs for employees and dependents. The UMS is a recipient of the Wellness Councils of America’s Well Workplace Award and offers wellness programs.

Qualifications:Required:- Law Enforcement certificate from the Maine Criminal Justice Academy
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, in police administration, public administration, criminal justice, risk management, business management or closely related field.
- A minimum of five years of progressively responsible law enforcement experience and currently certified as a law enforcement officer.
