HR Generalist, Capacity Management (Hybrid in Durham, NC; Chicago, IL; Washington, DC or Remote)
The HR Generalist is a member of a growing team of HR consultants at Arabella Advisors who provide expertise-based services to a suite of non-profit organizations with whom Arabella works. In this role, you will execute core operational HR process administration and address a high volume of HR inquiries for Arabella's nonprofit clients. This role is ideal for an HR professional interested in data management and analysis. This is a full-time position reporting to the Senior Director of HR.
Essential Responsibilities
- Case Management (20%)
- System administrator for case logging system.
- Monitor case and data systems for job assignment, escalation, accountability to client service standards and timeliness, and to inform team deployment decisions.
- Internal Systems Support (40%)
- Manage overall HR success metric tracking, including maintenance of the quarterly dashboard.
- Partners with senior leadership in developing and supporting HR’s objectives, outputs and standards. Special projects related to these objectives as assigned.
- Proactively suggest process and systems improvements to senior team members.
- Client Service (40%)
- Provides exceptional daily service to client staff, communicating quickly, effectively and efficiently.
- Provide expert client response to MNPO staff and internal stakeholders as defined by client service standards and case management protocols, and team backup plans
- Maintain and deploy working knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, and benefit plans.

To Be Successful in This Role, You’ll Need
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills with the ability to take a thoughtful approach to addressing challenges
- Highly entrepreneurial and resourceful. Willing to learn and the lead the way on new technological platforms and modes of operating
- Deeply inclined towards metrics and data-driven decision-making and accountability
- Experience with Salesforce and its reporting/dashboarding functionality strongly preferred. Strong Microsoft Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint capabilities desired, and exposure to data administration and data visualization a plus.
- Experience in professional services environment, PEO or similar highly desired. Strong client service and interpersonal skills such as tact and diplomacy
- Outstanding organization and prioritization skills - ability to manage multiple demands, projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong customer service mentality and high degree of integrity, accountability, and emotional intelligence
- Experience in rapid growth environment preferred.

While this position must be based in Durham, NC; Chicago, IL; or Washington, DC, please note that all Arabella Advisors’ offices have reopened, and we work in a hybrid environment.
We reopened our offices in Summer of 2022 and work with a hybrid workplace strategy to ensure continued flexibility for our staff, while deepening our strong culture rooted in collaboration and in-person interactions between colleagues. We expect that after their initial onboarding, all Arabellans will have the choice of two hybrid schedules. Our hybrid schedule options include Flex, with 1-2 days per week in the office, or Office-based, with 3 days per week in the office (or more if preferred) and the remaining days working at home/remotely. Total Rewards (Compensation and Benefits)
This is a full-time position. We offer a competitive and holistic total rewards package that includes salary, bonus, and benefits. Our compensation ranges are based on salary ranges for similar sized organizations in the professional services sector and adjusted for local labor market rates and differentiated by geography.
Annual Pay Ranges for This Position -
Durham: $52,000 - $58,000
Chicago: $55,000 - $60,000
DC: $57,000 - $64,000
