Capacity Planning Supervisor leads a capacity planning team to plan and monitor an organization's operating limits and capacities. Forecasts and plans capacity requirements to align with production schedules, resource levels, and inventory demand. Being a Capacity Planning Supervisor identifies and troubleshoots production issues or bottlenecks that impact plant capacity. Coordinates with internal stakeholders to understand future plans and develop responsive capacity forecasting. Additionally, Capacity Planning Supervisor utilizes production metrics and manufacturing research to develop insights on processes or equipment and recommend improvements. SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: The Homemaker Supervisor will oversee the daily operations and activities of staff and volunteers in the Homemaker Program. This role involves supervising staff, volunteers, coordinating schedules, maintain quality standards, and fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
SUPERVISORY CONTROLS: Receives general supervision from the Program Coordinator. Supervisor sets the overall objectives and employee and supervisor, in consultation, develop the deadlines, projects, and work to be done; employee is responsible for planning and carrying out the assignment; and work is reviewed only from an overall standpoint.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Accomplishes department objectives by supervising staff and organizing and monitoring work processes.
2. Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
3. Accomplishes staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
4. Plans, monitors, and appraises job results.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
1. Knowledge of social work programs and processes.
2. Knowledge of community resources and support network available to clientele served.

9. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited two or four-year college or university in Business Administration preferred. Industry and management experience a plus.
10. A valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
WORK CONDITIONS:
May require prolonged periods of sitting and standing; physical demands may require some walking; bending; reaching; carrying of light or moderate heavy items such as cleaners, cleaning equipment, papers, books, small parts; driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
