We are looking for seasoned managers with pleasant communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. The manager needs to have prior experience communicating with insurance companies for prior authorizations, insurance verification and claims follow-up when needed.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Plans and manages clinic operations to ensure excellent patient support services.
· Oversees daily office activities and provide direction and guidance to staff as needed.
· Ensures patient appointments, cancellations, and last-minute adjustments are handled properly.
· Responds efficiently to patient and doctor needs and inquires.
· Responds to patient queries and issues and ensure patient satisfaction.
· Resolves patient issues in accordance with company policies, procedures and healthcare regulations.
· Obtains timely Prior Authorizations for procedures
· Assists clinic staff in registering and discharging patients, including insurance verification, payment collection, and scheduling follow-up visits
· Assists clinic staff with phone calls and document scans
· Manages incoming and outgoing referral processes.
· Trains, develops and manages staff to meet performance standards.
· Develops promotional programs to attract more patients.
· Assists in employee performance evaluation, promotion, termination, and retention activities.
· Follows and enforces office policies and regulations.
· Reviews and approves vacations, sick leave and personal leave for clinic staff.
· Identifies areas of improvements and concerns and implements appropriate corrective actions.
· Creates, maintains, and flexes staff schedules based on clinic needs
· Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of clinic operations through regular reviews of key performance metrics
· Maintains patient data according to regulations and company policies.
· Ensures records are stored securely and in compliance with privacy and security regulations.
· Adheres to all HIPAA regulations.
· Takes responsibility for the appearance and functionality of the clinic.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· An associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business, or a related degree is required.
· A Certified Medical Manager (CMM) designation from the Professional Association of Health Care Office Management (PAHOM) is preferred but not required.
· At least 3 years of medical office management experience is required.
