Come grow with us! We are a busy, privately owned cardiology practice seeking a skilled and experienced Sonographer to join our team. Candidates should have experience in performing transthoracic echo, carotid, arterial & venous peripheral ultrasounds. We offer a great working environment; 4 days/week (4- 10 hour days), no call, no weekends.
Duties:
- Perform quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures
- Obtain patient medical history and explain procedures to patients
- Prepare and maintain equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness
- Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to physicians
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent
- Proficient in the use of ultrasound equipment and technology
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
