**Responsibilities:**
- Install carpets in residential and commercial settings according to project specifications
- Measure and cut carpets to fit rooms accurately
- Remove old flooring and prepare surfaces for carpet installation
- Inspect carpets for defects or damage prior to installation
- Utilize hand tools and equipment to complete installation tasks efficiently
- Ensure work is completed within project timelines and meets quality standards
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience in carpet installation.
- Familiarity with construction painting, blueprint reading, and fixture installation
- Knowledge of construction sites and safety protocols
- Ability to work on remodeling projects and new builds
- Proficiency in using various hand tools common in carpet installation
- Strong carpentry skills for preparing surfaces and making necessary adjustments
