PRACTICE ADMINISTRATOR
A well- established independent primary care physician office (10 providers) is looking for a seasoned professional to manage the corporation. This highly motivated individual will embody the mission, philosophy and culture of this long-standing practice and report to the President and Board of Directors. The candidate should have demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the body of knowledge as described by the American College of Medical Practice Executives. This is a full- time salaried position.
Responsibilities include:
Supervision of all non-physician personnel employed by the corporation
Maintain and ensure compliance with the personnel policies of the corporation
Administer all employee benefit plans and all qualified retirement plans as established by the board of directors
Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state and federal regulations
Knowledge and experience to administer payroll
Act as a liaison with other provider organizations, payors and businesses for the corporation
Negotiate contracts with payors as directed by the board
Maintain a corporate program of continuous quality improvement
Manage value -based care plan participation with data analysis to ensure practice success
Serve as the compliance officer for OSHA and HIPAA
Computer literacy to direct ongoing development, installation upgrading and maintenance of state-of-the-art computer systems for EMR, revenue cycle management and financial management
Oversee clinical billing and collections and accounts payable and maintain compliance with regulatory agencies
Knowledge of ancillary service (laboratory and bmd) regulations and compliance
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Perform all other duties as assigned by the board of directors
Education:
Bachelor or master’s degree in healthcare administration or the equivalent
CMPE certification or active pursuit of such
Experience:
Three to five years of management experience in a medical office
