Catering Coordinator - Casino jobs in Colorado

We’re looking for a part-time special events coordinator and captain who loves managing special events. You’ll work directly with our events team, sales team, clients, and other vendors to ensure every event runs smoothly. Responsibilities include facilitating event logistics, managing events, and evaluating the success of each event. Previous experience in event planning and execution is required. Depending upon experience, you will make between $22 and $28 base wage per hour plus:

• Event Tips (pooled with BOH Staff on a bi-weekly basis)
• 401K. We match 4% after 1 year

$25 - $35 hourly

• Communicate with on-site staff through clear banquet event orders to ensure event logistic needs are met
• Facilitate all events to confirm event details are executed, providing exceptional service from event set-up to tear-down
• Assess and document the outcome of each event to propel future improvement upon all processes
• Take part in walk-throughs and document it thoroughly
• Supervise and train serving staff in all necessary functions to ensure a smooth event and excellent customer experience
• Follow responsible alcohol service policies (if serving alcohol)
• Always on time, appropriately dressed, and ready to perform required duties
• Prepare and follow proper checklist procedures to make sure everything is packed and accounted for at the end of the event
• Perform other related functions that may be assigned

• Excellent communication skills for working with clients and other team members
• Must have a high school diploma or GED, and an associate degree in a related field is preferred
• Exceptional time management, problem-solving, and organization skills
• At least 5 years of experience coordinating or captaining events
