As the HR and Staffing Coordinator, you will play a critical role in managing our company's human resources operations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, fostering a positive workplace culture, and supporting our employees in their professional growth.

Responsibilities:

Include but not limited to…

• Source qualified candidates through various channels, such as job boards, social media, and networking events.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and ensure timely hiring.
• Manage, track, and address performance issues with 1099 employees.
• Conduct thorough interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for specific job requirements.
• Maintain, manage, and improve procedures related to new hire paperwork, employment tenure data, staff availability criteria, accurate processing of 1099 staff payroll, and uniform inventory.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure the accuracy of event information, such as start/end times, locations, uniforms, worker instructions, etc.
• Communicate pertinent event information clearly to staff.
• Schedule event staff and ensure that events are fully staffed and complies with city, state, and federal labor laws.
• Assist in maintaining and updating information for employee event handbooks.
• Collaborate on training programs throughout the year.
• Be available by cell phone on event days for staff regarding last-minute staffing changes.
• Serve as a point of contact between employees and managment, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• 1-3 years of experience in human resources or a related role.
• Basic knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to coordinate various activities with multiple components requiring independent follow-through and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of service, food, and beverage.
• Experience with Caterease, Nowsta, and HelloSign is a strong plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
