We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Catering to join our Fork in the Road team. The Director of Catering will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our catering sales and services, including food production and culinary operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication skills.
Salary range: $60,000-$90,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement catering sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth.
· Manage the catering team, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
· Collaborate with clients to plan events, including menu selection, venue selection, and event coordination.
· Oversee and implement food production and culinary operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food that meets or exceeds client expectations.
· Manage catering budgets, expenses, and profitability.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all aspects of catering operations.
· Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and clients to ensure repeat business.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
· 5 years of experience in a catering sales, hospitality management, or culinary operations.
· Proven track record of success in catering sales and revenue growth.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
· Knowledge of food and beverage trends, culinary techniques, and presentation.
