Catering Manager - Casino is responsible for operation and execution of the culinary aspects of events at the casino. Coordinates menus, supervises wait staff, and assists in staff training and approving payroll records. Being a Catering Manager - Casino may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Catering Manager - Casino supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Catering Manager - Casino typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Responsible for driving catering sales, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of events to enhance the resort's reputation for weddings, conferences, and special events. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to maximize catering sales. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, event planners, and corporate contacts to drive repeat business and referrals. Including prospecting and cultivate local Corporate Business accounts for meetings and events to enhance Catering Food and Beverage opportunities.
Minimum Requirements
3 years of experience in events management or group sales, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service. Must have working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Delphi FDC. Experience in Opera is preferred.

$73,000-$80,300, with potential for adjustment based on factors such as an applicant’s skills, experience and/or education.
