Responsibilities
· The ideal applicant will be outgoing, detail oriented, and dedicated to providing exceptional client service
· Responsible for sustaining relationship with existing clients and soliciting new catering accounts to meet and/or exceed revenue goals, coordinate and service client functions to ensure customer satisfaction
· Rebook existing accounts as well as develop, negotiate, qualify and book new business through solicitation of outside sales calls
· Maintain up-to-date Banquet Event Orders for client signature and internal distribution; secure guaranteed guest count, and deposit payments
· Flexible hours as schedule is largely event driven
Qualifications
Qualifications:
· 2 years sales experience in either wedding or corporate event planning
· Willfulness to work with clients of all socioeconomic backgrounds
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload to meet all deadlines
· Effectively communicate with all guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, and courteous manner (both oral and written)
· Local travel and vehicle required for sales appointments and events
