Ceiling Tile Installer jobs in Wisconsin

Dulmes Décor Carpet One is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tile Installer to join our team. In this position you will monitor the tile installation process from start to finish, including removing existing tiles, cutting and setting new tiles.

Responsibilities:

· Remove existing material and prep surfaces for tile installation

· Remove and replace cracked or damaged tile and grout

· Work in high quality environments to create tile showers, floors, backsplashes or accent walls

· Create waterproof showers using Schluter materials

· Install in floor heat under tile using Schluter materials

· Follow written work orders and consult with designer, customer, or project manager

· Effectively communicate with installers, customers and fellow employees

· Maintain a professional appearance, attitude and service in all interactions with clientele

· Maintain tools and work area in a safe and clean way to minimize disturbance to other areas

· Adhere to the project timeline without compromising quality or safety

Qualifications:

· Previous tile installation experience preferred

· Knowledge of proper tile layout and design

· Ability to use hand tools, saws and power tools correctly and safely

· Excellent attention to detail

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

· Ability to lift 50 pounds

· Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities

· Knowledge of basic mathematics

Position Details:
