Job Description:
The American Basketball Association (ABA) is seeking motivated and enthusiastic Remote Commission-Only Sales Representatives to join our team. This position involves cold calling businesses to prospect and sell sponsorships for our basketball teams. As a Sales Representative, you will play a vital role in connecting businesses with exciting sponsorship opportunities, helping them gain valuable exposure and engage with their local communities.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct cold calls to potential business prospects to introduce and sell ABA sponsorship packages.
• Present and explain the benefits of sponsorship opportunities to prospective clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and goals.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions.
• Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop effective sales strategies.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in a commission-based role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to confidently make cold calls and engage potential clients.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• Basic knowledge of the sports industry and sponsorship sales is a plus.
Compensation:
• This is a commission-only position with a commission of 10% of all paid sales.
• Commissions are paid twice monthly on all collected sales.
• This position is a 1099 contract role and does not include benefits.
