Minimum Education
X Master's Degree X Required
X Graduate of an approved program in Theology or Divinity or comparable theological degree X Required
X Minimum of two (2) units of clinical pastoral education (CPE) X Preferred

Ability to relate to medical and other patient care staff, as well as religious leaders in the community.
Ability to offer emotional and spiritual support to patients, families, and staff members in a high level ofstressful and emotionally charged situations.
X Endorsed by or eligible to be endorsed for ministry by the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC)Preferred
Minimum Work Experience
Minimum of one (1) year of pastoral experience in a parish- based or healthcare setting OR equivalent clinical training relevant to offering religious/spiritual ministry in a health care setting.
Must be available for participate in the on-call rotation on a regular basis, as determined by department needs.
