    The Staff Services Analyst certification list is being used as an appropriate list to hire for the Field Examiner I classification. To be eligible, you must meet the minimum qualifications for both classifications and be eligible on the Staff Services Analyst list.

    Under the general supervision of the Regional Director and direct supervision of the Field Examiner III, the incumbent is independently responsible for the complete process of handling cases of average difficulty in unfair labor practice investigations, representation matters, and compliance related activities.

    Duties will be adjusted if hired at the Field Examiner I level.

    The ALRB exercises jurisdiction over approximately 800,000 farmworkers and employers, providing collective bargaining rights to farmworkers that were specifically exempted from the coverage of the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) in 1935.
