RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Monitor billing processes and schedule.
2. Provide hands-on management to governmental billing and collections team.
3. Communicate business goals and motivates staff to assure success.
4. Manage staff performance, conduct performance review, and take appropriate action.
5. Interview all candidates and make hiring decision.
6. Remove roadblocks to assure timely, accurate, and complete billing submissions.
7. Ensure communication with Center Staff, Field Staff, peer Managers for the purpose of optimizing performance
8. Recommend and implement improvement in the process.
9. Assure timely and complete submission of all Medicare Reimbursable Bad Debt entries (Medicaid Secondary).
10. Escalate issues beyond span of control to Director, CBO.
11. Demonstrates care and compassion to ensure that all internal and external customers consistently receive the highest quality of service.
