I. POSITION TITLE/STATUS:
Dependency & Neglect (D&N) Case Supervisor
Full-time, 40 hrs./wk., Non-Exempt
II. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
Reports to D&N Program Manager
III. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides professional staff support to D&N volunteers, ensuring that the child's best interests are addressed, specifically regarding advocacy and permanency planning. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Assisting with volunteer recruitment to include screening and interviewing prospective volunteers.
· Co-facilitating volunteer training sessions.
· Providing continuous case management, support, and coaching of volunteers as they fulfill their duties as Court Appointed Special Advocates.
· Reviewing and editing all court reports for both content and structure prior to submission.
· Prioritizing volunteer recognition and retention efforts.
· Completing administrative tasks such as file management and data entry.
IV. QUALIFICATIONS:
A. High school graduate required
B. College graduate preferred
C. Volunteer management experience preferred
D. Knowledge of court system operations helpful
E. Knowledge of public relations and customer service helpful
F. Computer skills to include Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, email, and database entry
G. Reliable transportation required
