Job Overview:

Twin Lake Chemical is a small family owned and operated Chemical Manufacturer. We are seeking a Plant Operator to join our team. The Plant Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment in a plant environment to ensure efficient production processes. This is a union position, after 3 month trial and training period you will enter into the Machine and Aerospace Union. The position is for the day shift however occasional overnight shifts can be expected.

Duties:

- Operate plant equipment efficiently and safely
- Monitor and adjust process variables as needed
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Must be able to wear respiratory protection equipment and lift 50lb bags
- The role is to assist in plant operation including:

• Charging reactors with raw materials
• Monitoring and recording parameters on production equipment
• Filling drums with finished materials
• Cutting up drums for recycle
• Labeling and preparing orders in shipping warehouse

Skills:
- On the job training provided for Plant Operator duties.
- Opportunity to train for Maintenance position
- Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Some overtime available.
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting
