Essential Responsibilities:

• Supervise and develop maintenance operations for the hotel, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
• Manage departmental budget and expenses.
• Oversee projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to specifications.
• Direct safety programs and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with other departments for seamless operations.
• Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service.
• Maintain documentation of systems and equipment.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Embrace OHM culture initiatives.
• Transition new build property from pre-opening to opening, ensuring all systems are operational and staff are trained.

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to motivate and develop teams to meet standards.
• Effective problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• Professional presentation and persuasion skills.

Education & Experience:

• Certificate from a Vocational Institution preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance required.

Hours:

• Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Availability for emergency response.

Physical Requirements:

• Heavy work: lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Various physical activities including climbing, stooping, and walking.

Environmental Conditions:

• Work occurs indoors and outdoors.
• Subject to hazards such as moving parts and exposure to chemicals.
• May require work in confined spaces.
