Chief Financial Officer is responsible for developing an organization's overall financial policies. Provides strategic direction of all financial functions including accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury. Being a Chief Financial Officer ensures that proper financial controls are in place and that financial transactions support the overall business strategy while conforming with applicable laws and regulations. Requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Chief Financial Officer may require the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential. Typically reports to chief executive officer (CEO) or chief operating officer (COO). Responsible for the development of functional or business unit strategy for the entire organization.     As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at RITALKA, you will be an integral member of the management team. The CFO will be responsible for the following across the organization: accounting, financial infrastructure, financial reporting, tax, treasury, cash flow forecasting, planning and analysis, establishing and maintaining internal controls and procedures, as well as development, management, oversight, compliance and reporting of key financial metrics.

    What does the CFO do at RITALKA?

    • Perform risk management analysis based on company liabilities, investments, and ultimate goals
    • Ensure credibility of Finance group by providing timely and accurate budgets, financial trends and forecasts
    • Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization and assist when needed
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions and provide advice on financial implications of business activities
    • Manage and evaluate funding plans and capital structure based on current status and future goals
    • Ensure appropriate cash flow for company operations
    • Manage systems/processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the Company
    • Develop and drive financial planning and strategies and provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities
    • Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting
    • Build and manage relationships with financial institutions, vendors, and clients

    What are we looking for in a great candidate?

    • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations is essential
    • Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
    • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
    • Proficient use of MS Office and financial management software
    • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
    • BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MSc/MBA preferred
    • CPA highly desirable, but not required
    • CFO experience with companies of a 100m or more annual business size in manufacturing or heavy industry
