  • Essential Functions & Responsibilities
    Include, but are not limited to:


    • Supervise the NFC Information Security Program. Oversee the program including board reporting, annual reports, and information security policy administration.
    • Responsible for incident response planning, supervision, testing and administration.
    • Oversees the development and administration of the bank’s information privacy program ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations. Develop, direct, supervise and provide training on the bank’s compliance with information security and privacy requirements. Assist with control self-assessments and compliance checklists.
    • Administer the company’s policies and procedures for business continuity with bank non-technical disaster recovery, employee technology compliance, and relevant training, administration and reporting.
    • Supervise, organize, and periodically assess the vendor management program to ensure vendors are operating in compliance with bank information security, privacy, and service delivery obligations. Collaborate with IT and third-party providers on security issues and implement solutions to reduce information security risks.
    • Conduct regular/periodic employee access reviews, to include permission groups and remote access.
    • Monitor industry information privacy and security news, participate in industry groups, and engage in continuing education to stay current on tactics, techniques, procedures, and technologies.
    • Work closely with auditors, regulators, and other third parties to ensure that NFC meets regulatory requirements.
    • Serve as a backup for other position(s) and perform other duties, as assigned. *
    • Enhance career through work experience and continuing education. *
    • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations. *
    • Participate and respond to examinations, audits and third party reviews. *
    • Comply with the Information Security Program and is accountable for maintaining a high level of risk and security awareness. *
    • Establish a good image for the Bank by being active and visible in the community. *
    • Attend meetings as assigned. *
    • Develop a working knowledge of the Bank’s products and services through usage and webex attendance to provide quality customer service while building relationships and exceeding expectations. *

    Education & Experience

    Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Business Administration, Information Technology or Computer Science required; three to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


    Language

    Above average verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.


    Math

    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.


    Reasoning
    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.


    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

    Professional certification of Security , Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), or other equivalent desired. Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to outlying branch areas, as business needs dictate.
