Chief Radiologic Technologist oversees radiologic services, maintains technical aspects of radiologic safety and evaluates accuracy and quality of X-rays. Schedules work assignments and coordinates requests for radiologic services. Being a Chief Radiologic Technologist recommends new equipment, equipment modification, and crucial construction within the department. May perform duties of radiologic technologist as needed. Additionally, Chief Radiologic Technologist requires an associate degree in radiology. Requires American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - (R). Typically requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a manager or director. The Chief Radiologic Technologist manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Chief Radiologic Technologist typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Role Description

    This is a full-time, on-site role for a Radiologic Technologist at Urgentcare MDs. The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing radiologic procedures and operating imaging equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. The role involves patient positioning, radiation safety, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with the healthcare team. Strong knowledge of radiology and medical terminology is required.


    Qualifications

    • Radiologic Technology and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
    • Non-Certified Radiological Technician (NCT)
    • Radiologic Technician (RT)
    • Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) certification
    • Expertise in radiation safety and maintaining quality control
    • Experience in radiology and medicine
    • Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques and medical terminology
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
    • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
    • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field (preferred)
