    GENERAL SUMMARY:

    The American Contact Dermatitis Society (ACDS) is a non-profit medical society consisting of over 2,500 dermatologists, allergists and other health care professionals in the field of allergic contact dermatitis and related inflammatory skin diseases. The Society is committed to advancing the care and understanding of dermatitis and allergy and in providing patient resources for managing allergic contact dermatitis. One of these resources includes the Contact Management Allergen Program (CAMP). CAMP is a web-based and mobile app resource designed to help patients manage allergic contact dermatitis and find personal care products that are safe for them to use.

    This position reports to the Executive Director and focuses on the overall project management of CAMP to include overseeing and managing CAMP technical and maintenance updates, coordinating maintenance of CAMP data, and supporting physician and patient user inquiries. This position requires working with the ACDS Executive Director and other EDI staff as needed, the CAMP Director and other members of various CAMP committees, and the CAMP software developers.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (Minimum of 37.5 hours per week):

    • Serve as the primary project manager between the Society and the CAMP software developer concerning technical updates and annual maintenance of CAMP
    • Communicate with software developers to rectify technical errors and troubleshoot data quality issues and other potential concerns
    • Serve as the primary project manager between the Society and Label Insight to ensure all licensing agreements are upheld while trouble shooting areas for improvement
    • Collaborate and engage with CAMP Director and CAMP committees on a continuous basis to ensure all projects and initiative deadlines are met
    • Create and distribute educational resources for physician and patient users of CAMP
    • Manage and maintain the CAMP product database under the direction of the CAMP Director to include maintenance of user groups, product information, ingredients, cross reactors, and user reviews
    • Collaborate with the ACDS Membership/Administrative Manager to increase exposure of CAMP for recruitment purposes
    • Collaborate with industry to secure future CAMP funding.
    • Attend meetings/conference calls with applicable parties as needed
    • Provide administrative support as needed
    • Other duties as assigned


    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Experience working with medical databases and an interest in bio medical sciences a plus
    • Project management experience from conception to conclusion
    • Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational and critical thinking skills
    • High accuracy and attention-to-detail
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on customer service
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a small team environment
    • Ability to prioritize varied assignments and handle multiple projects
    • Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint


    AMOUNT OF TRAVEL REQUIRED: Approximately 1-2 weeks per year, including some evenings and weekends.

    INTERNAL/EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS (clients and vendors): Internal: liaison with ACDS Executive Director and EDI support staff. External: ACDS Members, ACDS Leadership and Committees and outside vendors, etc.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: (lifting, packaging, etc.) Minimal lifting required.

    This position is located in downtown Milwaukee, WI and a minimum of two days onsite in the office (including Wednesday as an all-staff-in-office day) are a requirement of the role.
