State of the art multi-disciplinary Rehabilitation and Pain Management Center is seeking a NYS Licensed and registered Full -Time Chiropractor.
This is an incredible opportunity for an entrepreneurial chiropractor to either develop his own practice, bring his existing practice or share our successful multidisciplinary medical practice that includes a Medical Doctor, Physical Therapist, Acupuncturist and massage therapist.The candidate should be a driven, polished team player with excellent communication skills to work with a carefully selected amazing team in a beautiful sleek work environment. The provider would ideally be Out-of-Network with insurances. We are centrally located close to the Long Island Expressway and near a major shopping area.
Resposibilities:
- Perform physical examinations and assessments on patients to diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy to effectively communicate with patients and other healthcare professionals
- Use medical imaging, such as X-rays, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning
- Provide primary care services to patients, including preventive care and health promotion
- Administer trigger point therapy and other manual therapies to relieve pain and improve mobility
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive treatment
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in chiropractic medicine and incorporate evidence-based practices into treatment approaches
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed chiropractor
- Proficient in performing physical examinations, diagnosing musculoskeletal conditions, and developing treatment plans
- Knowledge of occupational health practices and ability to provide appropriate care for work-related injuries
- Skilled in manual therapies for acute pain management
- Strong patient care skills, including the ability to establish rapport, educate patients, and provide ongoing support
Requirements:
- Valid chiropractic license in [state]
- Completion of a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree program from an accredited institution
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a healthcare team
