Manages COMMERICAL BINDING P&C Commercial Lines Underwriting Department in a particular territory; planning and monitoring the timely and accurate completion of their responsibilities. Monitors the acceptability and profitability of the business produced by the agencies assigned to the departments’ underwriters, taking corrective actions when necessary. Provides technical underwriting direction and assistance to the employees regarding complex functions. Assures that the department’s functions are performed within established underwriting guidelines and standards. Conducts employee performance reviews in a timely manner. Coaches, mentors COMMERICAL BINDING P&C employees.
