Being a Claims Quality Audit Supervisor solves day-to-day problems and monitors the results of daily staff activities, reports critical issues and problems to the management. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Claims Quality Audit Supervisor typically reports to a manager. The Claims Quality Audit Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes.     As a Supervisor on our Audit Team, you will utilize your educational background as well as your organizational skills as you work closely with colleagues on a variety of assignments for clients of the Firm. Our audit engagements are in many industries including: manufacturing, distribution, technology, life sciences, retail, hospitality, real estate, healthcare and non-profit. We also audit 80 EBPs, and to a lesser degree, perform due diligence, projection, AUP, and review engagements.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Perform diversified accounting and auditing, with a focus on for-profit and non-profit clients in the industries mentioned above
    • Demonstrate competency in technical skills, work quality, and application of professional and firm standards
    • Participate in planning and scheduling client engagements
    • Direct, evaluate, and mentor junior staff
    • Prepare and review working papers, financial statements and reports
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and our team
    • Embody an excellent client service mindset in representing the Firm

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
    • Master’s degree preferred
    • CPA or CPA Track
    • 3 years recent experience in public accounting
    • Polished written, verbal, and presentation skills
    • Prior experience directing and leading junior staff is highly preferred
    • Proficiency in use of computers and computer accounting and other software programs

    We are looking for a candidate to work full time. Normal hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with expected overtime during our peak season: January through April and sporadically through the rest of the year. These periods require increasing normal weekly hours, which can include weekends.
