Experience: At a minimum, we are seeking a candidate with at least 8 years of advanced experience developing the Database replication tools (SharePlex, Informatica, Oracle Streams, Golden Gate etc.) The selected candidate will perform design, documentation, development, and maintenance activities for the Department’s selected replication tool using industry and product best practices. Responsibilities will include reviewing mappings, workflow development, tuning for performance and durability and error handling/ resolution, support and maintenance. In addition to advanced Database replication experience candidates are required to have skills and experience in the following areas: • Experience in Oracle database administration • Experience working in UNIX operating system • Working knowledge with Oracle Exadata Servers • Experience in working with different versions of Oracle databases with experience in setting up successful replications. • Experience in Unix/Linux scripting and configuring database and servers • Ability to work with multiple teams. • Ability to work independently and to resolve complex Oracle issues • Ability to effectively diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex problems pertaining to data infrastructure. • Ability to write SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages and Database Triggers • Ability to Tune Oracle SQL and PL/SQL performance • Experience in logical database design and data models • Advanced experience with ETL and data transformation solutions • Experience with Physical Data guard setup and knowledge of Snapshot stand By databases. • Experience working with DBA team and guiding them on choosing best approaches on Database Administration. • Experience working with Batch Processing • Experience working with Oracle databases and PL-SQL
