We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Director of Operations who is licensed as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York, to oversee the daily administrative and operational functions of Gavia LifeCare Center. The Director of Operations will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with OMH regulations, as well as in driving strategic initiatives to enhance patient care and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the administrative and clinical teams, about 60 employees in total, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
• Operational Oversight: Oversee all aspects of clinic operations, ensuring compliance with OMH regulations, including scheduling, patient flow, facility management, and resource allocation, to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Regulatory Compliance: Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality assurance measures to ensure compliance with OMH regulations, HIPAA, Medicaid/Medicare regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Financial Management: Develop and manage the clinic's budget, monitor financial performance, and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth while adhering to OMH guidelines.
• Staff Development: Recruit, train, and supervise administrative and support staff, providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities to promote employee engagement and retention.
• Performance Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance the quality, accessibility, and effectiveness of patient care services in alignment with OMH requirements.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including patients, families, community partners, and regulatory agencies, to support the clinic's mission and objectives.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the executive leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans, goals, and initiatives that align with the clinic's mission and vision.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare administration or operations management, preferably in a mental health or outpatient clinic setting
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve organizational goals
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders
• Proven track record of successful financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Knowledge of OMH regulations, compliance standards, and quality improvement methodologies
• Ability to think strategically, analyze complex issues, and develop innovative solutions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare management software applications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
