Provides phone, clerical, and data entry support including insurance verification. Being a Clinic Receptionist directs patients, visitors, and callers to appropriate parties and answers basic questions. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Clinic Receptionist typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Clinic Receptionist possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
Professionally answer incoming phone calls. Schedule appointments. Assist with insurance and billing.
Opportunity to cross train and learn optical duties (as stated above we band together to get the job done).
Requirements:
Working computer knowledge,
excellent customer service and communication skills. Pleasant, cooperative, and caring attitude.
Team player with attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Job hours: 32 hours on average. Monday - Friday.
Pay: dependant upon qualifications
Potential to be a scribe for the provider, or have a more flexible schedule
