Clinic Receptionist is responsible for greeting and registering patients as they enter the admitting ward of a hospital or clinic. Provides phone, clerical, and data entry support including insurance verification. Being a Clinic Receptionist directs patients, visitors, and callers to appropriate parties and answers basic questions. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Clinic Receptionist typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Clinic Receptionist possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Receptionists are responsible for working in both of our clinics in Wailuku and our clinic in Lahaina. Malama I Ke Ola does provide reimbursement for mileage. Valid Drivers License and access to an insured vehicle are required.
The Receptionist is responsible for keeping the centers running efficiently by answering the telephones, registering all new patients, and checking in patients on a timely basis. To maintain first contact with all patients entering and exiting the organization for dental/health care and acts as liaison between all CCM personnel and patients. Assumes responsibility for information related to patient registration and demographics. The primary responsibility is to ensure that the needs of all patients are met promptly to patient satisfaction.
