Clinic Receptionist jobs in Indiana

Airport Veterinary Clinic, a mixed animal hospital located in west central Indiana, would love to add a Veterinary Receptionist to our 2-doctor team!

Individuals with a passion for veterinary medicine are encouraged to apply. Prior experience is a plus, but not required.

As for scheduling, we take a family-first approach to ensure each member of our team has quality time with loved ones and a true balance between work and life. We’re searching for a full-time Veterinary Receptionist who can provide weekday coverage, and Saturdays on rotation. Schedule would be M-F for 3 weeks, then M, T, Th, F 8:30-5, and S 7:45-11 a.m. every fourth week.

Primary skills/responsibilities:

• Client service and communication
• Welcoming and discharging patients
• Collaboration with other team members
• Managing phone lines
• Booking appointments
• Setting up new clients and patients
• Over-the-counter sales
• Financial transactions
• General front desk duties (email, faxing, filing, etc.)
• Ensuring that the reception area of the hospital is always clean and presentable
• Attention to detail and awareness of surroundings, noticing areas of need within the practice

Airport Veterinary Clinic is a busy, 2-doctor practice offering thoughtful care to a wide range of pets in our community. We primarily see cats and dogs; however, we’re also equipped to treat exotic pets and large animals for hobby farmers in the area (85% small animal; 15% large). Our practice values teamwork and communication and understands that achieving the best quality of care means taking care of each other. We currently have one CVT, multiple technicians pursuing their certification, and a fantastic support staff that has been with us for years. Our primary services include general wellness, preventative care, dentistry, and surgery.
