The Lee Veterinary Clinic is searching for a receptionist to join our front desk team! We are open to hiring someone full-time or part-time for this position.
Are you someone who enjoys interacting with people in a fast-paced environment? The receptionist is the client's first and last contact when calling or visiting the practice and represents the practice's professional image to callers and visitors. The receptionist answers telephones, greets clients, prepares patient files, receives and relays client correspondence, and updates client information and financial records. This position requires much more than a love for animals! The successful receptionist can multitask in a demanding, fast-paced environment while fostering client bonding. This individual must be able to work under pressure and maintain a cheerful, friendly composure. Patience and empathy are musts to be on our team. Previous experience is the veterinary or human medical field is preferred.
Personal Requirements: The ability to multitask and communicate effectively with clients and coworkers is critical for this position. Candidates must possess strong organizational skills with attention to detail, follow-up, and the ability to be proactive and self-driven.
Physical Effort: Work requires lifting and carrying records and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs; requires sitting and standing for extended periods.
Working conditions: May be exposed to unpleasant odors, noises, and animal feces. May be exposed to bites, scratches, and contagious diseases.

Schedule: Currently, our full-time employees work four days a week. At least one evening is required per-week. The clinic is currently closed for weekends. A part-time schedule would need to be discussed at the time of an interview.
