Clinical Data Specialist jobs in Iowa
Clinical Data Specialist designs and maintains clinical quality databases. Queries databases, creates reports and analyzes data to comply with regulatory reporting requirements and support improvements in clinical effectiveness. Being a Clinical Data Specialist defines and tests new measures, validates data, and takes steps to automate and improve the data collection process. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Clinical Data Specialist typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Clinical Data Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. What does a Clinical Data Specialist do in home care?
As a Clinical Data Specialist you will be responsible for the maintenance of our Electronic Health Records. You will work directly with our staff, physicians, and referral sources ensuring that Iowa Home Care is compliant at all times with our documentation standards. You will need to have a high sense of organization, logistical thinking, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service skills. This position does require that you will serve as a back up to our clients for any home health aide services. Previous work as a CMA/CNA is required.
