Clinical Ethicist jobs in Colorado
Clinical Ethicist offers guidance to patients, their families, and professional staff on ethical, legal and policy issues and concerns stemming from clinical interactions between health care professionals and patients. Provides guidance to the institutional ethics committee pertaining to policy formulation and educational and case review activities. Being a Clinical Ethicist develops institutional policies concerning ethical issues such as "do-not-resuscitate" and "withdrawal of life-support". Requires a master's degree or doctorate related to health ethics. Additionally, Clinical Ethicist typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Clinical Ethicist typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. - Master's Degree in Audiology OR Doctoral Degree in Audiology (Au.D.)

- Certification of Clinical Competency in Audiology from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association OR ABA Board Certification in Audiology required.

Job Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to:
- Measures hearing acuity and identifies the type and degree of hearing loss for patients of all ages
- Determines audiologic candidacy for implantable devices,
- Prepares written reports of diagnostic test results and recommendations and confers with the appropriate professionals regarding patient care and management.
