CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER manages the collection and analysis of clinical outcomes data to develop clinical process improvement initiatives. Oversees staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of clinical program effectiveness. Being a CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER provides advanced analyses and reports on clinical outcomes data. Evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Additionally, CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER identifies areas for improvement and assists leaders/physicians in developing strategies to improve performance. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to a director. The CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     The Boys and Girls Clubs of Lake County is seeking an Outcomes Data Manager to lead grant data collection and reporting. You'll collaborate with program leadership, design parent engagement activities, and coach staff in data use. You'll support survey administration, analyze data, and provide training on evaluation and outcomes work.

    What You’ll Do

    The Outcomes Data Manager, who reports to the Chief Operating Officer, is responsible for the following:

    • Monitoring and managing Club staff's use of data collection and reporting systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
    • Guiding data analysis and producing various reports for senior management on a regular and ad hoc basis.
    • Overseeing Club-based data collection, entry, and database management, including training staff and maintaining detailed records.
    • Identifying and evaluating potential risks, analyze program trends, and making recommendations to improve operations and outcomes.
    • Managing participation in external surveys and overseeing grant data collection and compilation across teams.
    • Collaborating with the program leadership and resource development team to provide current program metrics and community needs information.
    • Leading efforts to design uniform parent engagement activities across all sites.
    • Fielding and responding to data queries from Club staff and development, marketing, and operations departments.
    • Working with Chief Operating Officer to identify tools and strategies to enhance data use and provide solutions for organizational needs.
    • Provide ongoing training for staff on evaluation and outcomes work, supporting the implementation of strategic direction.

    Required Experience and Qualifications

    • Demonstrated knowledge, experience, and expertise in Youth Development, Psychology, or K-12 Education and Supportive Services
    • At least 4 years of non-profit/government coordinating similar programs.
    • Ability to connect deeply with young people and their families either through candidate’s experience or experience living/working in similar communities.
    • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
    • Excellent time management and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects/assignments and deadlines.
    • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning in education, human or social services, or a related field of study
    • Flexibility in schedule with the ability to support sites as needed.
    • Ability to travel between sites and within and outside the community as necessary.

    Preferred Experience and Qualifications

    • Previous Experience working in the Lake County Community
    • Master’s Degree in Relevant Field
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

    A relevant combination of Education and Experience will be considered to meet requirements.

    Physical Requirements/Work Environment

    • Ability to climb stairs and to lift items over 50 lbs.
    • Mobility to perform active programming needs.
    • Ability to perform any other position duties.

    Compensation and Benefits Package

    We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 annually for this full-time, exempt position, based at our Waukegan site at 730 S Martin Luther King Jr Ave. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, employees can access a 401K retirement plan. Furthermore, we value work-life balance and provide generous paid time off (PTO) benefits totaling 120 hours per year.
