JOB SUMMARY
As a Manager of Compliance, you will manage the day-to-day functions of maintaining the compliance program. Your duties will include overseeing the completion of compliance activities, audits, and document creation/drafting by Compliance Specialists and/or Compliance Senior Specialists. You will contribute to training development on compliance matters, handling complaints, and liaising with clients, partners, vendors, and government agencies on compliance matters. The position has a heavy focus on payor sponsored programs and compliance such as CMS compliance and contractual
compliance for health plan and PBM and Pharma related compliance for manufacturer sponsored programs; other areas may fall under responsibilities as assigned.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee compliance priorities, develop, and enact regulatory compliance strategies working with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage oversight of compliance monitoring and auditing activities and functions. Oversee audit work performed by direct assigns for internal, external, and downstream vendor audit completion.
- Oversee applicable assignments related to development and implementation of corporate risk assessment and compliance work plan activities.
- Act in an advisory role and lead discussions concerning compliance related matters across the organization for assigned areas of responsibility and make applicable risk mitigating recommendations as applicable.
- Mange compliance controls to applicable to contractual requirements such as HITRUST, SOC or other certifications which require compliance oversight including oversight on execution of BCDR requirements.
- Initiate and lead compliance and privacy related process improvement and corrective action plans across the organization, monitor progress of corrective actions and ensure completion.
- Monitor and oversee progress with external corrective action plans, as needed.
- Lead compliance and privacy incident management, response, and investigations as assigned.
- Maintain expertise in relevant areas of assigned compliance responsibilities including applicable requirements, regulations, and laws. Continually monitor changes in industry and company’s business activities that impact compliance and privacy risk.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization, demonstrating professionalism and good judgment at all times.
- Must be able to work autonomously (with minimal direction) while also being part of an integrated team.
- Must be able to manage competing demands and multiple priorities, while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
- Technical proficiency related to PC and basic office software.
- Travel Requirements: Domestic and/or International, up to 10%.
Education & Experience Requirement
- Minimum years of work experience: 8 years in related field
- Minimum level of education or education/experience: Bachelors or equivalent work experience in related field
